Clarification of the Age Requirement for Women’s Class (15+)

Section A.7 of the ATVMX National Championship Supplement Rules sets the rider’s age as follows:

7. Women (15+) (201-450cc) Class:
     a. Riders must be 16 years old to compete on a 251-450cc machine.
     b. Riders 15 years old may only compete on a 201-250cc machine.

The Women’s class is an Amateur class, not a Youth class. Accordingly, 14-year-olds are not eligible for the class, as riders may not “ride up” in an Amateur class.
