WMX and Pro-Am Holeshots Alongside MJ5 Awards Return for 2025 Season Backed by Sponsors, WheelZ UP and WheelZ UP GirlZ

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (April 2, 2025) – The ATV Motocross National Championship (ATVMX) Series, an AMA National Championship, is excited to announce the continuation of the MJ5 Awards and Holeshot Awards for the WMX and Pro-Am classes.

This year the MJ5 will be sponsored by WheelZ UP and WheelZ UP GirlZ along with other contributing companies, donations and sponsors throughout the series. The MJ5 award is in honor of Michelle Jenkins who competed in the ATVMX nationals starting in 2008, earning five consecutive National Championships from 2016 to 2020. She was a fierce competitor and avid supporter of ATV racing in general and ATVMX in particular. Michelle sadly passed away in 2021 after a riding accident while practicing. Her husband, Brian Jenkins continues to keep her memory alive alongside the ATVMX community.

WMX and Pro-Am racers will have the chance to earn some extra money if they make it to the first turn ahead of everyone else, earning themselves the $100 holeshot awards each event. These holeshot awards will be sponsored by the WheelZ UP crew along with local and national sponsors, with this weekend’s help coming from Deckers Training Facility.

The next round of racing will take place on April 26-27, 2025, at Lake Sugar Tree in Axton, Virginia. For more event information check out www.lstmx.com. For the full 2025 ATV Motocross National Championship Series schedule, click HERE.
